Terms of service

1. The Service

clipinai.com lets you choose video templates, add your own clips and photos, and download a rendered video. Templates, designs, software and the website remain our property or that of our licensors. You get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use templates to make videos with the Service.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old (18 to make payments) and give accurate information.
• Keep your password secret; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• We may suspend accounts that break these terms or misuse the Service.

3. Your content

• You keep all rights to the clips and photos you upload. You give us a limited licence to store and process them only to make your videos.
• You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload (including people who appear in it) and that it is lawful.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, infringing, or that harms minors. We may remove such content and report it where the law requires.
• Your clips stay on your device while you edit. When you make a video, only the parts used are sent to us, stored encrypted and deleted within 24 hours. Finished videos are stored encrypted and deleted after 7 days. Download anything you want to keep.

4. Music and third-party material

Some templates include music or other third-party material. Social platforms apply their own rules to music; you are responsible for how you publish your videos. You may replace template music with your own audio where a template allows it.

5. Plans and payments

• Free accounts get a limited number of videos per month at 720p with a watermark.
• Paid products (single HD video, Festival Pass, Pro) are listed on the pricing page in US dollars. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we never see or store your card or UPI details.
• The Festival Pass is a one-time purchase valid until the date shown at purchase and does not renew. Pro gives access for the period purchased and does not renew automatically.
• Refunds are covered by our refund & cancellation policy.

6. Fair use

Plans with many or unlimited videos are subject to fair use to keep the Service fast for everyone. Automated or bulk use, reselling access, sharing an account, or attempts to bypass limits, watermarks or security are not allowed.

7. Copyright complaints

If you believe a template or a shared video infringes your rights, email support@clipinai.com with the link, your proof of ownership and your contact details. We remove infringing material promptly and may close repeat offenders' accounts.

8. No warranty

The Service, templates and videos are provided “as is” and “as available”. We don't promise that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a video will look exactly like the template with every clip, or that a social platform will accept, show or promote your video.

9. Limitation of liability

• To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, followers, data, goodwill or business opportunities.
• Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) ₹1,000 (US$12).
• Keep your own copies of anything important: clip parts are deleted within 24 hours and videos after 7 days and we are not responsible for content you didn't download.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (for example for fraud), or your statutory rights as a consumer.

10. Indemnity

You agree to compensate us for claims, losses and reasonable legal costs caused by content you upload or publish, or by your breach of these terms.

11. Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Account. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, misuse the Service or put other users at risk; where reasonable we will tell you why first. Sections 7-12 continue to apply after your account ends.

12. Law, disputes, changes and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Surat, India have jurisdiction; consumers in other countries keep the protection of their local mandatory laws. Please contact us first; most issues are solved quickly by email. We may update these terms; the date above changes and, for important changes, we tell you by email or on the site.
